Description
Acicase, Certified is produced by acidic hydrolysis of milk proetin. Used as a growth factor in culture media, it recomended to be used when the mesearement of microbiological growth is optically.

Appearance
Off white to light yellow homogenous free flowing powder, having characteristic but not putrescent odour.

Solubility
Freely soluble in distilled water, insoluble in alcohol and ether.

Clarity
1% w/v aqueous solution is clear without any haziness after autoclaving at 15 lbs pressure (121ºC) for 15 minutes.
