Species reactivity
Human (Homo sapiens); Due to limited knowledge and inability for testing each and every species, the reactivity of the antibody may extend to other species which are not listed hereby.
-
Specificity and cross reactivity
Caspase 3 is ubiquitously expressed and like other caspases is synthesized as an inactive (32kDa) proenzyme. This antibody reacts with human. The other species are not tested.; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
-
Purification method
The antibody is purified from ascites fluid by Protein A
-
Form Appearance
This affinity purified antibody is supplied in sterile Phosphate-buffered saline (pH7.2) containing antibody stabilizer.
-
Concentration
Size: 100 ug/200 ul

Storage and shipping
The antibodies are stable for 12 months from date of receipt when stored the antibody should be stored at -20 degrees Celsius. to -70 degree C. Upon initial thawing, apportion into working aliquots and store at -70 degree C for up to six months. The antibodies can be stored at 2 degree C-8 degree C for one month without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freezing-thawing cycles.
-
Tested applications
Immunohistochemistry - Paraffin, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation
-
Description
This antibody needs to be stored at + 4°C in a fridge short term in a concentrated dilution. Freeze thaw will destroy a percentage in every cycle and should be avoided. Antibody for research use. Human and some mouse caspases are active in apoptosis and cell death and even in necrosis and inflammation. CASP Gene and orthologous enzymes have been identifies successfully in the signal transduction cascade and pathways.

Test
Mouse or mice from the Mus musculus species are used for production of mouse monoclonal antibodies or mabs and as research model for humans in your lab. Mouse are mature after 40 days for females and 55 days for males. The female mice are pregnant only 20 days and can give birth to 10 litters of 6-8 mice a year. Transgenic, knock-out, congenic and inbread strains are known for C57BL/6, A/J, BALB/c, SCID while the CD-1 is outbred as strain.
