Species reactivityHuman (Homo sapiens); Due to limited knowledge and inability for testing each and every species, the reactivity of the antibody may extend to other species which are not listed hereby.
-
Specificity and cross reactivitySpecific for human nuclei. Stains nuclei of all human cell types giving a diffuse nuclear staining pattern. Chromosomes are negatively stained in metaphase cells. By immunoprecipitation the antibody reacts with an 80 kDa and 70 kDa band. The antibody works on acetone fixed and paraformaldehyde fixed cells. It is suggested that you permeabilize the cells with 0.1-0.4% Triton X100. The antibody also works for immunohistochemistry on paraformaldehyde fixed cryostat sections.; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.

Storage and shippingPrior to immediate use the antibody can be stored for a short time period at +4 degrees Celsius. For long term storage keep the antibody at -20 degrees Celsius. Freeze/thaw cycles may damage the polypeptide chains of the antibodies and reduce their activity.
-
Tested applicationsImmunofluorescence (IF), Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
-
DescriptionThis antibody needs to be stored at + 4°C in a fridge short term in a concentrated dilution. Freeze thaw will destroy a percentage in every cycle and should be avoided. Antibody for research use.
-
TestMBS Monoclonals supplies antibodies that are for research of human proteins.
-
PropertiesHuman proteins, cDNA and human recombinants are used in human reactive ELISA kits and to produce anti-human mono and polyclonal antibodies. Modern humans (Homo sapiens, primarily ssp. Homo sapiens sapiens). Depending on the epitopes used human ELISA kits can be cross reactive to many other species. Mainly analyzed are human serum, plasma, urine, saliva, human cell culture supernatants and biological samples.
