  • Species reactivity
Human (Homo sapiens), Monkey, Mouse (Mus musculus), Rat (Rattus norvegicus); Due to limited knowledge and inability for testing each and every species, the reactivity of the antibody may extend to other species which are not listed hereby.
  • Specificity and cross reactivity
Recognizes endogenous levels of human total cytoplasmic acetyl-CoA synthetase (AceCS1). Species crossreactivity: Mouse, rat and monkey.; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.

Supplied as a liquid in 10mM sodium HEPES pH 7.5, 150mM NaCl, 0.1mg/ml BSA, < 0.02% sodium azide, 50% glycerol.
  • Concentration
    N/A
  • Storage and shipping
Store the antibody at +4 degrees Celsius for short term storage.. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. For optimal long term storage, the antibody should be kept at -20 degrees Celsius. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
  • Tested applications
    Western Blot (WB), Immunoprecipitation (IP)
  • Description
N terminal acetylation or CH3CO as epigenetic regulation of -Coenzyme A Synthetase, Cytoplasmic ( -CoA Synthetase, AceCS1, AceCS, ACS, ACSA, Acyl-CoA Synthetase Short-chain Family Member 2, ACAS2, ACSS2, Acetate-CoA Ligase, Acyl-activating Enzyme, dJ1161H23 1, DKFZp762G026) Antibody by NATs. Enzymes are cleaving the substrate. If the substrate is DNA they are called restriction enzymes. Activating enzymes will cut off the domain that is biological active to become functional.
  • Properties
If you buy Antibodies supplied by MBS Monoclonals they should be stored frozen at - 24°C for long term storage and for short term at + 5°C.

Scope note: A DNA amplification technique based upon the ligation of OLIGONUCLEOTIDE PROBES. The probes are designed to exactly match two adjacent sequences of a specific target DNA. The chain reaction is repeated in three steps in the presence of excess probe: (1) heat denaturation of double-stranded DNA, (2) annealing of probes to target DNA, and (3) joining of the probes by thermostable DNA ligase. After the reaction is repeated for 20-30 cycles the production of ligated probe is measured.
