Species reactivity
Human (Homo sapiens), Mouse (Mus musculus); Due to limited knowledge and inability for testing each and every species, the reactivity of the antibody may extend to other species which are not listed hereby.
-
Specificity and cross reactivity
The epitope recognized by GoH3 is loCated on glycoprotein Ic or the a6 subunit of integrin. This alpha6 (glycoprotein Ic) is expressed as a physical complex with glycoprotein IIa within the plasma membrane protein on platelets and with the b4 subunit of integrin on normal epithelial cells and (colon) carcinoma cells, peripheral nerves, and endohelia. The epitope of the monoclonal antibody is still available when the Ic glycoprotein is within the complex.; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.

Description
The anti Integrin alpha 6A / CD49f is a α- or alpha protein sometimes glycoprotein present in blood. This antibody needs to be stored at + 4°C in a fridge short term in a concentrated dilution. Freeze thaw will destroy a percentage in every cycle and should be avoided.

About
Rats are used to make rat monoclonal anti mouse antibodies. There are less rat- than mouse clones however. Rats genes from rodents of the genus Rattus norvegicus are often studied in vivo as a model of human genes in Sprague-Dawley or Wistar rats.
