  TNF ALPHA This item is specific for mouse tumour necrosis factor alpha (TNF alpha), also known as TNFSF2. This 17kDa cytokine is produced by monocytes, macrophages, neutrophils, NK cells and CD4+ T cells. TNF alpha forms dimers and trimers, and is also found as a 26kDa integral membrane protein. Mouse TNF alpha has cytolytic activity against many tumour cell lines, and has an important immunoregulatory role. Clone MP6-XT3 is reported to neutralise the effects of mouse TNF alpha; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.

  The ANTI MOUSE TNF ALPHA Antibody is a α- or alpha protein sometimes glycoprotein present in blood. This antibody needs to be stored at + 4°C in a fridge short term in a concentrated dilution. Freeze thaw will destroy a percentage in every cycle and should be avoided. This is against a protein of mus musculus directed antibody.

  Mouse or mice from the Mus musculus species are used for production of mouse monoclonal antibodies or mabs and as research model for humans in your lab.
