DescriptionReceptor tyrosine kinase-like orphan receptor 1, also known as NTRKR1, is a type I membrane protein and member of the ROR family. The NTRKR1 gene encodes a predicted 937-amino acid protein. A 6-kb mRNA is expressed strongly in human heart, lung, and kidney, but weakly in the CNS. However, a truncated 2.4-kb mRNA lacking extracellular and transmembrane domains was strongly expressed in fetal and adult CNS and in a variety of human cancers, including those originating from CNS or PNS neuroectoderm. The protein encoded by this gene is a receptor tyrosine kinase that modulates neurite growth in the central nervous system.

ImmunogenAn amino acid sequence from the C-terminus of human ROR1 (NKSQKPYKIDSKQAS) was used as the immunogen for this ROR1 antibody.

StorageAfter reconstitution, the ROR1 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20 deg. Celcius or lower. Cycles of freezing and thawing can denaturate the peptide chains of the antibodies and reduce their sensitivity and/or change their affinity. Prepare aliqotes in such a manner so that freeze-thaw cycles are minimized. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
