• Specificity and cross reactivity
  React with free lambda chains and also with lambda chains attached to heavy chains in ELISA. In Ouchterlony immunodiffusion, no reaction with Bence Jones lambda or Ig lambda. No crossreactivity with kappa chains. Membrane bound Ig containing lambda light chains will also be recognized as well as cytoplasmic Ig from bone marrow cells containing lambda chains. All cells reacting with conventional anti-lambda will also react with this antibody.; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
