• Description
  The protein encoded by this gene is a cytokine that shares the sequence similarity with IL17. The treatment of endothelial cells with this cytokine has been shown to stimulate the production of other cytokines including IL6, IL8 and CSF2/ GM-CSF. The increased expression of IL8 induced by this cytokine was found to be NF-kappa B-dependent.
• Immunogen
  A portion of amino acids 155-183 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for this IL17D antibody.
• Storage
  Aliquot the IL17D antibody and store frozen at -20 deg. Celcius or lower. Cycles of freezing and thawing can denaturate the peptide chains of the antibodies and reduce their sensitivity and/or change their affinity. Prepare aliqotes in such a manner so that freeze-thaw cycles are minimized.
