  CD166 is cell adhesion molecule that binds to CD6. The protein is involved in neurite extension by neurons via heterophilic and homophilic interactions. It may play a role in the binding of T- and B-cells to activated leukocytes, as well as in interactions between cells of the nervous system.
• Immunogen
  A portion of amino acids 58-87 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for this CD166 antibody.
• Storage
  Aliquot the CD166 antibody and store frozen at -20 deg. Celcius or lower. Cycles of freezing and thawing can denaturate the peptide chains of the antibodies and reduce their sensitivity and/or change their affinity. Prepare aliqotes in such a manner so that freeze-thaw cycles are minimized.
