BAK This item recognises human BAK, a 24kD apoptosis related protein, also known as Bcl-2 homologous antagonist/killer, a member of the Bcl-2 family. This antibody shows no cross-reactivity with other Bcl-2 family members, including Bcl-2, Bcl-X, Bax or Mcl-l. Immunohistochemical studies show that BAK expression is widespread, and may show some correlation with the apoptopic state of cells.

In order to retain the quality and the affinity of productone unchanged, please, avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. For antibodies that are in liquid form or reconstituted lyophilized antibodies small amounts could become entrapped on the seal or the walls of the tube. Prior to use briefly centrifuge the vial to gather all the solution on the bottom.

This antibody needs to be stored at + 4°C in a fridge short term in a concentrated dilution. Freeze thaw will destroy a percentage in every cycle and should be avoided. Antibody for research use.
