Species reactivity
Mouse (Mus musculus), Human (Homo sapiens); Due to limited knowledge and inability for testing each and every species, the reactivity of the antibody may extend to other species which are not listed hereby.
-
Specificity and cross reactivity
This antibody reacts with mouse CD28 found predominantly on T cell subsets and activated B cells. This antibody cross-reacts with Human, Chimpanzee, Baboon. The other species are not tested.; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
-
Purification method
The hamster IgG is purified by Protein A affinity purification
-
Form Appearance
This affinity purified antibody is supplied in sterile Phosphate-buffered saline (pH7.2) containing antibody stabilizer.
-
Concentration
Size: (100 mg/200ml)
-
Storage and shipping
The antibodies are stable for 12 months from date of receipt when stored the antibody should be stored at -20 degrees Celsius. to -70 degree C. Upon initial thawing, apportion into working aliquots and store at -70 degree C for up to six months. The antibodies can be stored at 2 degree C-8 degree C for one month without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freezing-thawing cycles.
-
Tested applications
ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Immunoprecipitation Immunohistochemistry
-
Description
This antibody needs to be stored at + 4°C in a fridge short term in a concentrated dilution. Freeze thaw will destroy a percentage in every cycle and should be avoided.
-
Properties
If you buy Antibodies supplied by MBS Monoclonals they should be stored frozen at - 24°C for long term storage and for short term at + 5°C. Armenian of Syrian hamster monoclonal IgGs are useful antibodies for double staining your IHC samples. Using mabs or monoclonal antibodies has a lot of advantages for Flow cytometry.
