Rat Anti Mouse Anti-IL4 Antibody-APC is a mouse monoclonal antibody, specific for [11B11] clones, this reagent was conjugated with APC format and reported for use in flow cytometric analysis to react with IL4 antigen in T and mast cells, also in biosophils, IL4 is a stimulant factor of growth and activation cells, it has also a role in regulation of development of T helper subsets.

This antibody needs to be stored at + 4°C in a fridge short term in a concentrated dilution. Freeze thaw will destroy a percentage in every cycle and should be avoided. Antibody for research use. This is against a protein of mus musculus directed antibody.

Gene
Interleukin 4 (IL4) is a cytokine that induces differentiation of naive helper T cells (Th0 cells) to Th2 cells. It is used for dendritic and T cell therapy. Upon activation by IL-4, Th2 cells subsequently produce additional IL-4 in a positive feedback loop. The cell that initially produces IL-4, thus inducing Th0 differentiation, has not been identified, but recent studies suggest that basophils may be the effector cell. It is closely related and has functions similar to Interleukin 13. Recombinant, GMP rec. E. coli interleukin-4 for cell culture supplied by GENTAUR. Free samples on request.
