How to reconstitute
For reconstitution add 200 µl of sterile water.
-
Storage condition
store lyophilized/reconstituted at -20°C; once reconstituted make aliquots to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Please, remember to spin tubes briefly prior to opening them to avoid any losses that might occur from lyophilized material adhering to the cap or sides of the tubes.

Scientific context
Hcf101 is a novel protein required for photosystem I biogenesis. Hcf101-1 is a high-chlorophyll-fluorescence hcf) Arabidopsis thaliana mutant that lacks photosystem I. In green tissue the level of this protein is stimulated by light and the protein has not been detected in roots. It has been localized in chloroplast stroma.

Test
Fluorimetric analysis of fluorescent emission of light by is a form of luminescence. The emitted light has a longer wavelength, and therefore lower energy, than the absorbed radiation for excitation. Fluorescent controls and calibrators can be supplied to mix with the cells. A fluorimeter is needed to do the analysis of the green, red, blue, yellow, orange, deep red fluorescent dyes.
