Species reactivity
Influenza B virus Nucleoprotein specific Recognizes only influenza B virus, no cross reactivity with Influenza A (H1N1 and H3N1); Due to limited knowledge and inability for testing each and every species, the reactivity of the antibody may extend to other species which are not listed hereby.
-
Specificity and cross reactivity
Influenza B nucleoprotein specific; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
-
Purification method
Influenza B antibody was purified by Protein G chromatography.
-
Form Appearance
Protein A purified and supplied in PBS, pH 7.4, 10mM (NaH2HPO4 & Na2HPO4)with 150mM NaCl, and 0.09% Sodium Azide.
-
Concentration
5.3mg/ml
-
Storage and shipping
For shorter periods of time keep the antibody at +4 degrees Celsius. Long term storage should be done after aliquoting and at -20°C. Cycles of freezing and defrosting may denaturate the polypeptide chains of the antibodies, thus reducing their activity.
-
Tested applications
ELISA (EIA)
-
Properties
If you buy Antibodies supplied by MBS Monoclonals they should be stored frozen at - 24°C for long term storage and for short term at + 5°C.

Description
Influenza A and B H1N1 H3N2 Hemagglutinin-nucleoprotein recombinant proteins, peptides and antibodies detect a virus commonly known as "the flu". Influenza is an infectious disease caused by an influenza virus. Symptoms can be mild to severe. The most common symptoms include a high fever, runny nose, sore throat, muscle pains, headache, coughing, and feeling tired. These symptoms typically begin two days after exposure to the virus and most last less than a week. The cough, however, may last for more than two weeks. In children, there may be nausea and vomiting, but these are not common in adults.
