Host organismMouse (Mus musculus)
-
Species reactivityCanine, Human (Homo sapiens), Mouse (Mus musculus), Rat (Rattus norvegicus); Due to limited knowledge and inability for testing each and every species, the reactivity of the antibody may extend to other species which are not listed hereby.
-
Specificity and cross reactivityReactive with Hantaan virus-infected cells. Reacts with an epitope present on the N-terminus of the nucleocapsid protein (S segment) of Hantaan. Species Crossreactivity: Human, rat, mouse, canine.; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
-
Purification methodAffinity Purified by Protein A affinity chromatography.
-
Form AppearanceSupplied as a liquid in PBS, BSA, 0.001% thimerosal. Conjugated to Horseradish peroxidase.
-

Storage and shippingStore the antibody at +4 degrees Celsius for short term storage.. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Store the antibody should be stored at -20 degrees Celsius. or colder. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months the antibody should be stored at -20 degrees Celsius.. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
-
Tested applicationsELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
-
PropertiesIf you buy Antibodies supplied by MBS Monoclonals they should be stored frozen at - 24°C for long term storage and for short term at + 5°C. HRP conjugates are often primary rabbit polyclonal antibodies couples to the enzyme horseradish peroxidase (HRP), found in the roots of horseradish. Also monoclonal HRP conjugates are often used for Western Blot.
