Background InformationProtein phosphatase 2C (PP2C alpha) is a Mn2+- or Mg2+- dependent protein serine/threonine phosphatase that is essential for regulating cellular stress response in eukaryotes. The protein coding region of PP2C alpha (amino acids 1-382) was cloned into an E. coli expression vector. PP2C alpha was overexpressed in E. coli as a soluble His-tag fusion protein, and it was purified by conventional column chromatographic techniques.

Additional descriptionThe Recombinant PP2C alpha is a α- or alpha protein sometimes glycoprotein present in blood.
-
PropertiesHuman proteins, cDNA and human recombinants are used in human reactive ELISA kits and to produce anti-human mono and polyclonal antibodies. Modern humans (Homo sapiens, primarily ssp. Homo sapiens sapiens). Depending on the epitopes used human ELISA kits can be cross reactive to many other species. Mainly analyzed are human serum, plasma, urine, saliva, human cell culture supernatants and biological samples.
