Description
Most polyclonal antibodies pabs are raised in rabbits as rabbit polyclonal antibodies. Monoclonals are usually produced in mouse as host species and polyclonals in rabbit or goat. Multi species reactivity is achieved by selecting consensus epitopes when blasting the gene for a reactive, innugenic epitope that is the same in the different target species.

The IgG antibody has 2 antigen binding sites. They represent 70% or more of serum antibodies. This antibody can be antigen purified or protein A or G purified. For storage sodium azide is added or you can call us to request azide free antibody preparations. These will need colder storage temperatures.
