Species reactivity
Human (Homo sapiens); Due to limited knowledge and inability for testing each and every species, the reactivity of the antibody may extend to other species which are not listed hereby.
-
Specificity and cross reactivity
Guanylate Cyclase Beta 1 (Soluble) Detects the beta1 subunit of guanylate cyclase, a heterodimeric protein consisting of an alpha subunit and a beta subunit linked by disulphide bonds. Guanylate Cyclase functions as the main receptor for nitric oxide, whereupon it catalyzes the conversion of GTP to the second messenger cGMP. cGMP mediates the vasodilator capacity of NO, and is important in modulating other vascular functions, including cellular proliferation, apoptosis, migration and extracellular matrix production. Detecs a band of approximately 70 kDa in human lung cell lysate.; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.

Storage and shipping
Short term Store the antibody at +4C. Temperature variations in the range of 1 to 7 degrees Celsius are tolerable. We recommend NOT to freeze the antibody. Long term aliquot and For optimal long term storage, the antibody should be kept at -20 degrees Celsius. Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
-
Tested applications
EIA/ELISA, Western Blot
-
Properties
If you buy Antibodies supplied by MBS Monoclonals they should be stored frozen at - 24°C for long term storage and for short term at + 5°C.
