  CD40 This item recognises chicken CD40, a type I intergral membrane protein, which is a member of the tumour necrosis factor receptor family. In chickens, CD40 is expressed on immature and mature B-cells, monocytes and macrophages. The binding of the CD40 ligand to CD40 is reported to play an important role in chicken B-cell development.; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
