NBS1 This item is specific for human Nijmegen breakage syndrome 1 (NBS1), also known as nibrin. _x000D__x000D_NBS1 interacts with MRE11 and RAD50 to form a complex with nuclease activity which is involved in the initiation of nonhomologous end joining and homologous recombination. It is thought that NBS1 is involved in both DNA double-strand break repair and DNA damage-induced checkpoint activation. _x000D__x000D_Mutations in this gene are associated with Nijmegen breakage syndrome, an autosomal recessive chromosomal instability syndrome characterized by hypersensitivity to ionizing radiation and cancer predisposition.

In order to retain the quality and the affinity of productone unchanged, please, avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. For antibodies that are in liquid form or reconstituted lyophilized antibodies small amounts could become entrapped on the seal or the walls of the tube. Prior to use briefly centrifuge the vial to gather all the solution on the bottom.

This antibody needs to be stored at + 4°C in a fridge short term in a concentrated dilution. Freeze thaw will destroy a percentage in every cycle and should be avoided. Antibody for research use.
