Specificity and cross reactivity
CD11b This item recognises the human CD11b cell surface glycoprotein, a 165kD molecule also known as the alpha M integrin, MAC-1 and CR3. This molecule is expressed as a heterodimer in association with the beta 2 integrin, and is found upon monocytes, granulocytes, NK cells and some peripheral blood lymphocytes. Clone ICRF44 has been reported to have various functional effects on monocytes, blocking adhesion and stimulating cytokine and chemokine release.; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.

Repeated freeze - thaw cycles may denature the peptide chains of the antibody and therefore should be maximally avoided.
