Long descriptionThe immunogen used was a recombinant protein to the N terminus of p130. p130 is related both in structure and function to the retinoblastoma tumor suppressor protein and p107(collectively known as pocket proteins) and are known to regulate the activity of E2F transcription factors. E2F transcription factors regulate the expression of a number of genes important in cell proliferation, particularly those involved in the progression through G1 and into the S-phase of the cell cycle. Binding of p130 converts E2F transcription factors from transcriptional activators to transcriptional repressors. This antibody recognizes both the phosphorylated and unphosphorylated forms of p130 at a MW of 130kDa.

TestMouse or mice from the Mus musculus species are used for production of mouse monoclonal antibodies or mabs and as research model for humans in your lab. Mouse are mature after 40 days for females and 55 days for males. The female mice are pregnant only 20 days and can give birth to 10 litters of 6-8 mice a year. Transgenic, knock-out, congenic and inbread strains are known for C57BL/6, A/J, BALB/c, SCID while the CD-1 is outbred as strain.
