  • Scientific context
Goat anti-Mouse IgG (H&L), F(ab)'2 fragment, ALP conjugated min. cross-reactivity to bovine, horse, human, pig or rabbit serum protein is a secondary antibody conjugated to ALP, which binds to mouse IgG (H&L), F(ab)'2 Fragment in immunological assays.
  • Notes
Antibody purity is > 90% based on SDS-PAGE Small amounts of intact IgG may be present.Affinity purified using solid phase Mouse IgG .Antibody is supplied in 30 mM Triethanolamine, pH 7.2, 5 mM Magnesium Chloride, 0.1 mM Zinc Chloride, 1 % (w/v) BSA, Protease/IgG free.Based on IEP, this antibody reacts with: - heavy (gamma) chains on mouse IgG - light chains on all mouse immunoglobulins . Based on IEP, no reactivity is observed to: - non-immunoglobulin mouse serum immunoglobulins - serum proteins from bovine, horse, human rabbit or swine .

  • Properties
Horse (Equus ferus caballus) sera and plasma contain equine IgGs, Immunoglobulins. ELISA test are used to determine quantitatively the presence in horse serum of the antigen by a polyclonal antibody to the equine epitope selected for the ELISA kit. A blocking solution for the native horse or equine immunoglobulins in available in the ELISA protocol. Human proteins, cDNA and human recombinants are used in human reactive ELISA kits and to produce anti-human mono and polyclonal antibodies. Modern humans (Homo sapiens, primarily ssp. Homo sapiens sapiens). Depending on the epitopes used human ELISA kits can be cross reactive to many other species. Mainly analyzed are human serum, plasma, urine, saliva, human cell culture supernatants and biological samples.
  • About
Pigs and the smaller guinea pigs are frequent used as models for humans. Rabbits are used for polyclonal antibody production by agisera. Rabbit antibodies are very stable and can be stored for several days at room temperature. agisera adds sodium azide and glycerol to enhance the stability of the rabbit polyclonal antibodies. Anti-human, anti mouse antibodies to highly immunogenic selected peptide sequences are" monoclonal like" since the epitope to which they are directed is less than 35 amino acids long. Serum should be stored at +5°C
  • Description
Azide Free Serum for cell culture FBS fetal bovine serum. Filtered serum for sterility. The polyclonal serum contains no red or white blood cells or clotting factors; it is the blood plasma not including the fibrinogens. Serum includes all proteins and antibodies not used in blood clotting (coagulation) and all the electrolytes, antibodies, antigens, hormones, and any exogenous substances like drugs and microorganisms. Plasmas on request.

  • Short name
    Goat, F(ab)'2 , ALP conjugated min. cross-reactivity , , , rabbit serum protein
  • Technique
Rabbit, serum, Goat, antibody Conjugates, goats
  • Host
Goat, The goat polyclonal antibodies are directed against human genes or rabbit or mouse IgGs (H +L) chain primary antibodies and conjugated for detection. It are very good secondary antibodies that are affinity purified and have a good affinity themselves too. Often KLH is coupled to the antigen so anti KLH can be present in the vial. Rabbits
  • Isotype
Antibody fragments and scFv fragments, single chain variable fragments can be E. coli expressed. Fragment peptides for polyclonals give monoclonal like antibodies as the epitope is very small. IgG Fc and(ab)2 fragments are small and stable subunits of the antibody obtained by enzymatic digestion. Complement fragments, bp DNA fragments are common.
