Storage and handling
For short term storage the vial may be kept refrigerated in the temperature range of 1 to 6 degrees Celcius. For long term storage, keep the protein frozen at -20 deg. C. Avoid cycles of freezing and twaing as they may denaturate the peptide chains of the protein, thus changing its structure and properties.

Conjugate
The Green Fluorescent Protein (eGFP) of Recombinant Enhanced green fluorescence EGFP-mCherry can be excited at 488 nanometers with a peak emission at 509 nanometers and is detected in the FL1 detector on the FACSCalibur or FACScan. The LSRII and all of the core's sorter flow cytometers can tell the difference between at the same time/together expressing eGFP and eYFP cells when the proper optical filters and experimental controls exist.

Test
