Scientific contextGoat anti-rabbit IgG (H&L) is a secondary antibody which binds to rabbit IgG (H&L) in immunological assays. Antibody is affinity purified using solid phase rabbit IgG (H&L).
-
NotesPurity of this preparation is > 95% based on SDS-PAGE. Antibody concentration is > 4.5 mg/ml (E 1% at 280 nm = 14.0). Antibody is supplied in 10 mM sodium phosphate, 0.15 M sodium chloride, pH 7.2. Contains 0.05% (w/v) sodium azide as preservative of bacterial growth.Based on immunoelectrophoresis, this antibody reacts with: heavy chains on rabbit IgG, light chains on all rabbit immunoglobulins. Based on immunoelectrophoresis, no reactivity is observed to: non-immunoglobulin rabbit serum proteins, human serum proteins.

TestA high affinity purification column was use to purify Goat, , Unconjugated, min. cross-reactivity serum by agisera by chromatographic size exclusion.
-
Description1 of protein A or G purified by agisera will give more specificity than crude serum. Azide Free Serum for cell culture FBS fetal bovine serum. Filtered serum for sterility. The polyclonal serum contains no red or white blood cells or clotting factors; it is the blood plasma not including the fibrinogens. Serum includes all proteins and antibodies not used in blood clotting (coagulation) and all the electrolytes, antibodies, antigens, hormones, and any exogenous substances like drugs and microorganisms. Plasmas on request.

PropertiesHuman proteins, cDNA and human recombinants are used in human reactive ELISA kits and to produce anti-human mono and polyclonal antibodies. Modern humans (Homo sapiens, primarily ssp. Homo sapiens sapiens). Depending on the epitopes used human ELISA kits can be cross reactive to many other species. Mainly analyzed are human serum, plasma, urine, saliva, human cell culture supernatants and biological samples.

HostGoat, The goat polyclonal antibodies are directed against human genes or rabbit or mouse IgGs (H +L) chain primary antibodies and conjugated for detection. It are very good secondary antibodies that are affinity purified and have a good affinity themselves too. Often KLH is coupled to the antigen so anti KLH can be present in the vial.
