Specificity and cross reactivity
Recognizes monkey milk proteins. In immunoelectrophoresis against monkey milk precipitation of not less than 8 different proteins may be obtained. However the number of visible precipitin lines varies widely among individual specimens of monkey milk. The total concentration of protein, their proportion of the different protein components change markedly during the course of lactation. A protein detected in a monkey secretion may be of secretory origin, or it may be a plasma protein presumably entering in the secretion from the surrounding capillary vessels and through interstitial tissues. Virtually every plasma protein may also be present at a detectable level in milk. Not all precipitable proteins have been identified. Known proteins include secretory IgA and other immunoglobulins, free secretory component, lactoferrin, components of the

Description
productone is a polyclonal antibody of high purity and binding affinity for the antigen that it is risen against. Properly used, this antibody will ensure excellent and reproducible results with guaranteed success for the applications that it is tested in. Polyclonal antibodies have series of advantages - larger batches can be supplied at a time, they are inexpensive to manufacture and respectively to buy, the time needed for production is considerably shorter. Polyclonal antibodies generally are more stable and retain their reactivity under unfavorable conditions. To obtain more detailed information on productone, please, refer to the full product datasheet.
-
Advisory
In order to retain the quality and the affinity of productone unchanged, please, avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. For antibodies that are in liquid form or reconstituted lyophilized antibodies small amounts could become entrapped on the seal or the walls of the tube. Prior to use briefly centrifuge the vial to gather all the solution on the bottom.

Properties
If you buy Antibodies supplied by MBS Polyclonals they should be stored frozen at - 24°C for long term storage and for short term at + 5°C.

Additional description
Rhesus Monkeys proteins are often measured by ELISA on serum or plasma since consensus epitopes with the human ELISA are used for producing the antibodies of these ELISA test kits. Often cDNA of monkeys is used as alternative to human cDNA as a model for drug development. Monkeys are generally considered to be intelligent, particularly Old World monkeys.
