E.coli-derived human HDAC4 recombinant protein (Position: Q4-Q213). Human HDAC4 shares 98.6% and 98.1% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with mouse and rat HDAC4, respectively.
  • Product configuration
    Each vial contains 5mg BSA, 0.9mg NaCl, 0.2mg Na2HPO4, 0.05mg NaN3.
  • Purification
    Immunogen affinity purified.
  • Solubilization
The powdered antibody should be dissolved in 0.2 ml of distilled water to achieve final concentration of 500ug/ml
  • Storage condtions
Keep the HDAC4 Antibodyat minus twenty degrees Celsius for 1 year. The ready-to-use solutions can be stored at four degrees Celsius for a month. Our specialsits recommend to freeze the aliquotes at minus twenty degrees Celsius for long-term application. Multiple procedures of freezing and thawing influence the specifity and reactivity of the antibody in a negative way.
  • Tips
The HDAC4 Antibody did not cross-reacted with other proteins during the test procedures. This antobdy is intended to be used for research analyses and it is not applicale for in vitro diagnostics.
  • Background
Histone deacetylase 4, also known as HDAC4, is a protein that in humans is encoded by the HDAC4 gene. It is mapped to 2q37.3. Histones play a critical role in transcriptional regulation, cell cycle progression, and developmental events. Histone acetylation/deacetylation alters chromosome structure and affects transcription factor access to DNA. The protein encoded by this gene belongs to class II of the histone deacetylase/acuc/apha family. It possesses histone deacetylase activity and represses transcription when tethered to a promoter. This protein does not bind DNA directly, but through transcription factors MEF2C and MEF2D. It seems to interact in a multiprotein complex with RbAp48 and HDAC3.
