2-[(1S, 3R)-9-hydroxy-1-methyl-5,10-dioxo-3,4-dihydro-1H-benzo[g]isochromen-3-yl]acetic acid; Nanafrocin, Nanafrocine, Nanafrocinum, Rosanomycin A
Nanaomycin A is a selective DNA methyltransferase 3B (DNMT3B) inhibitor. It induces antiproliferative effects in three different tumor cell lines originating from different tissues. Nanaomycin A treatment reduces the global methylation levels in all three cell lines and reactivates transcription of the RASSF1A tumor suppressor gene.
