Reconstitution Instructions
Centrifuge vial before opening. When reconstituting the product, gently pipet and wash down the sides of the vial to ensure full recovery of the protein into solution. It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized product with sterile water at a concentration of 0.1 mg/mL, which can be further diluted into other aqueous solutions.

Background Information
Stromal Derived Growth Factor-1beta (SDF-1beta), also called CXCL12, is one of two splice variants made by a wide variety of cells when stimulated by inflammatory cytokines such as, TNF, IL-1 or LPS. SDF-1β signals through the G protein-couple receptor, CXCR4, to recruit activated leukocytes. Human SDF-1β shares 100% identity to feline SDF-1β. Recombinant feline SDF-1beta is a non-glycosylated protein, comprised of 72 amino acids, with a molecular weight of 8.5 kDa.

Technique
Recombinant, Feline, felines, E. coli recombinant proteins are genetic recombinations in Escherichia coli, supplied as white sterile powder lyopillized. Biovision advises they will be reconstituted in a buffer soluion or culture medium for cell culture.

Species
Sometimes til 5% of an area felines have specific IgGs for the feline retroviral feLV infecting Felidae. Also distemper and leukemia virusses apear in cats and have their specific IgG antibodies that are very stable. All cats used for producing immunoglobulins are screened and tested virus negative. Cat seras have usually higher IgG tirters than dog serum. Feline range = 10 to 20 mg/ml IgGs.
