Minimal Sporulation Growth Agar is employed for the growth and sporulation of Saccharomyces cerev isiae. To prepre the media d issolve the powder in d istilled water, heat to boiling if it is necessary, sterilize by autoclaving at 121°C for 15 minutes, then mix well and d ispense as desired.

Light yellow coloured, clear to slightly opalescent gel forms in Petri plates.

Store below 30°C and the prepared medium at 2 - 8°C.
