Host: Goat; Source: Rat
Specificity and cross-reactivity
Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Goat Serum, Rat IgG, Rat IgG F(ab')2 and Rat Serum. No reaction was observed against anti-Pepsin, anti-Goat IgG F(c), Rat IgG F(c) or Bovine, Horse and Human Serum Proteins.
Affinity Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography using Rat IgG coupled to agarose beads followed by solid phase adsorption(s) to remove any unwanted reactivities, pepsin digestion and chromatographic separation.
Supplied as a lyophilized powder from PBS, pH 7.2, 10mg/ml BSA (IgG and Protease free), 0.01% (w/v) Sodium Azide. Labeled with TRITC.
Storage and shipping
Lyophilized powder Store at 4 degrees Celsius for short term storage.. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile 40-50% glycerol and For optimal long term storage, productone should be kept at -20 degrees Celsius. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months productone should be stored at -20 degrees Celsius.. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunofluorescence (IF)
If you buy Antibodies supplied by MBS Polyclonals they should be stored frozen at - 24°C for long term storage and for short term at + 5°C.
F(ab')2 Fragment Affinity-Purified Secondary Antibodies,IgG
Immunoglobulin gamma, IgG, mouse monoclonal H&L chain clones or rabbit, goat polyclonal antibodies have 4 parts. There are 2 heavy chains, 2 light chains. The IgG antibody has 2 antigen binding sites. They represent 70% or more of serum antibodies. This antibody can be antigen purified or protein A or G purified. For storage sodium azide is added or you can call us to request azide free antibody preparations. These will need colder storage temperatures.
