Target of this antibody:
Alternative names of antibody target:
vascular endothelial growth factor
VEGF (Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor) is a secreted homodimeric protein, secreted by a variety of vascularized tissues. VEGF stimulates endothelial cell growth, angiogenesis, and capillary permeability.
Clonality of antibody:
This antibody reacts with:
E. coli expressed recombinant murine VEGF
Concentration of antibody:
Form of antibody:
This antibody has been succesfully tested for use in following methods:
Western blot, and Immunohistochemistry
Western blotting (0.5-4 µg/ml) and Immunohistochemistry (5 µg/ml). However, the optimal conditions should be determined individually. Recombinant murine VEGF (Cat.# 4364-10) can be used as a positive control.
Shelf time: 12 months in temp.: -20 deg.C
How to handle this antibody:
The antibody solution should be gently mixed before use.
This antibody needs to be stored at + 4°C in a fridge short term in a concentrated dilution. Freeze thaw will destroy a percentage in every cycle and should be avoided.
