AntigenThe monoclonal antibody was produced in BALB/c X ICR F1 mice using recombinant hFGF-basic as the immunizing antigen.
-
Immuno applicationELISA, Western Blot
-
Antibody adviceELISA:In a sandwich ELISA (assuming 100 μL/well), a concentration of 2.0-4.0 ug/mL of this antibody will detect at least 1000 pg/mL of recombinant human FGF-basic when used with our biotinylated antigen affinity purified anti-human FGF-basic (XP-5137Bt) as the detection antibody at a concentration of approximately 0.125-0.25 ug/mL. Western blot:To detect hFGF-basic by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.25-0.50 ug/mL. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hFGF-basic is 1.0-2.0 ng/lane, under non-reducing conditions.
-
Keep atFGF-basic lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at -20 grades C. Reconstitute in sterile water to a concentration of 0.1 - 1.0 mg/mL. The antibody is stable for at least six weeks at 2-4 grades C when reconstituted.

DescriptionThis antibody needs to be stored at + 4°C in a fridge short term in a concentrated dilution. Freeze thaw will destroy a percentage in every cycle and should be avoided. Antibody for research use. Basic proteins pH>7 are often produced recombinant and shouldn’t be precipitated by formic acid buffer.
-
PropertiesIf you buy Antibodies supplied by proscience they should be stored frozen at - 24°C for long term storage and for short term at + 5°C.
