Specificity and cross reactivity
CD27 Clone LG.3A10 recognises mouse, rat and human CD27, a member of the tumour necrosis factor receptor superfamily. It is expressed in the thymus and spleen, but not in non-lymphoid tissues. CD27 acts as a ligand for CD70, which is expressed in T and B cells, and acts as a costimulatory signal in lymphocyte proliferation and immunoglobulin production. CD27 lacks a death domain in its short cytoplasmic tail, but can induce apoptosis by binding with the apoptosis regulatory protein Siva (also known as CD27-binding protein). ; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.

This antibody needs to be stored at + 4°C in a fridge short term in a concentrated dilution. Freeze thaw will destroy a percentage in every cycle and should be avoided. This is against a protein of mus musculus directed antibody.

Properties
