Host organismMouse (Mus musculus)
-
Source organismHuman (Homo sapiens)
-
Species reactivityHuman (Homo sapiens), Mouse (Mus musculus), Rat (Rattus norvegicus); Due to limited knowledge and inability for testing each and every species, the reactivity of the antibody may extend to other species which are not listed hereby.
-
Specificity and cross reactivityDetects endogenous levels of p38 MAP kinase. Does not crossreact with either JNK/SAPK or p42/44 MAP kinase. Species Crossreactivity: Human, mouse and rat.; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.

Storage and shippingStore the antibody at +4 degrees Celsius for short term storage.. For long-term storage, For optimal long term storage, the antibody should be kept at -20 degrees Celsius. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months the antibody should be stored at -20 degrees Celsius.. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

DescriptionThe MAP Kinase p38 alpha (MAPK14, Mitogen-activated Protein Kinase p38 alpha, Mitogen-activated Protein Kinase 14, CSBP, Cytokine Suppressive Anti-inflammatory Drug-binding Protein, CASID-binding Protein, SAPK2A, CSBP, CSBP1, CSBP2, CSPB1, MXI2) is a α- or alpha protein sometimes glycoprotein present in blood. This antibody needs to be stored at + 4°C in a fridge short term in a concentrated dilution. Freeze thaw will destroy a percentage in every cycle and should be avoided. Antibody for research use. Cytokines and Chemokines are chemotaxis related small proteins between 5 to 20 kDa.
