DescriptionPhosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase (PEPCK) is a key enzyme in stimulating glucose production. PEPCK catalyzes the conversion of oxaloacetate to phosphoenolpyruvate. There are two forms of PEPCK.,the cytosolic form also known as PEPCK-C and the mitochondrial form, or PEPCK-M.
