Specificity and cross reactivity
CD80 This item recognises chicken CD80, a type I integral membrane protein, which is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily. In mammals, CD80 functions as a costimulatory molecule of T-cells through ligation of CD28 and CD152. It is expressed by mature antigen-presenting cells, including activated B-cells, activated T-cells, macrophages and dendritic cells. ; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
