  • Specificity
Recognizes the phosphorylation site motif: Pro-X-(Ser/Thr)-Pro, where X is ideally a basic or neutral amino acid residue. MAPK will phosphorylate a range of proteins in vitro including p90 rsk, p70 S6 kinase, p74 raf1, EGF receptor, Myc and Jun.
  • Purity
    Highly Purified0.95
  • Form
    Supplied as a liquid in 25ul of 50mM Tris, pH 7.5, 0.1mM EGTA, 0.1% 2-mercaptoethanol, 0.03% Brij-35 and 50% glycerol.
  • Storage_stability
May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
  • Test
Mouse or mice from the Mus musculus species are used for production of mouse monoclonal antibodies or mabs and as research model for humans in your lab. Mouse are mature after 40 days for females and 55 days for males. The female mice are pregnant only 20 days and can give birth to 10 litters of 6-8 mice a year. Transgenic, knock-out, congenic and inbread strains are known for C57BL/6, A/J, BALB/c, SCID while the CD-1 is outbred as strain.
