• Background Information
  Ubiquitin-Aldehyde is a potent and specific inhibitor of deubiquitinating enzymes (DUBs) based on a C-terminal electrophilic Aldehyde group. Ub-Aldehyde can be used for activity profiling experiments and DUB inhibitor specificity determination. It targets four of the five major DUB families: UCH, USP, OUT, and MJD, while leaving JAMM metalloproteases uninhibited. Reaction conditions will need to be optimized for each specific application. We recommend an initial Recombinant Human Ubiquitin-Aldehyde concentration of 1-5 uM.

• Properties
  Human proteins, cDNA and human recombinants are used in human reactive ELISA kits and to produce anti-human mono and polyclonal antibodies. Modern humans (Homo sapiens, primarily ssp. Homo sapiens sapiens). Depending on the epitopes used human ELISA kits can be cross reactive to many other species. Mainly analyzed are human serum, plasma, urine, saliva, human cell culture supernatants and biological samples.
