MSH6 This item specifically recognises human MSH6, otherwise known as G/T mismatch-binding protein (GTBP), a nuclear protein and member of the MutS family of DNA mismatch-binding proteins, vital for DNA repair. _x000D__x000D_MSH6 can form functional complexes with MSH2 which have been shown to recognise G/T nucleotide mismatches, as well as small nucleotide IDL (+T and +G) mismatches. Mutations in the MSH6 gene are known to hinder the repair of DNA mismatches, increasing an individual's risk for developing cancer, as demonstrated in the autosomal inherited disease hereditary non-polyposis colorectal cancer (HNPCC).

This antibody needs to be stored at + 4°C in a fridge short term in a concentrated dilution. Freeze thaw will destroy a percentage in every cycle and should be avoided. Antibody against the Hu protein or peptide or recombinant supplied in 1 volumes. Ask for quote if you need bulk.
